Follow the storymobile (aka a recording studio on wheels) as it crosses the country to gather the almost lost tales of Canada’s beloved main streets.
This charming and poignant multimedia show features the voices of Canadians recorded in every province and territory, alongside personal anecdotes from a family adventure to find them, filled with humour and moments of madness.
This epic tale was developed by Lisa Marie DiLiberto and Charles Ketchabaw in collaboration with artists from across the country over more than five years. Interesting fact is that of the thousands of interviews, hundreds of performances and installations and communities visited, St. Catharines was the first community partner outside their home in Toronto.
The FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre is to welcome FIXT POINT back with The Tale of a Town Canada, the culminating celebration of Canadian main streets and gathering places.
