A dynamic performance exploring the experiences of the people who dreamed of and built Niagara's Welland Canal, from William Hamilton Merritt to the present day.  Told through story, music, movement and video, this visually arresting theatre piece embodies our local history and animates the mayhem, tragedies and triumphs of this national waterway. 

ECT celebrates Canada's 150th anniversary of Confederation with this original play about the canal that helped to shape the Niagara Region. 

 


Recommended for grades 7-8; 9-12
$10 + HST per ticket.
