Rolling Stones Let it Bleed- Classic Albums Live

A HOT TICKET presentation
**NEW DATE** CLASSIC ALBUMS LIVE
THE ROLLING STONES' LET IT BLEED
PARTRIDGE HALL

Let It Bleed is the eighth British and tenth American studio album released by The Rolling Stones on 5 December 1969.

Like Beggars Banquet the year before, the album marks a return to the group's more blues-based approach that was prominent in the pre-Aftermath period of their career. The main inspiration during this string of albums was American roots music and Let It Bleed is no exception, drawing heavily from gospel Hank Williams and Jimmie Rodgers, Chicago blues as well as country blues and country rock.

Let It Bleed reached number 1 in the UK (temporarily demoting The Beatles' Abbey Road) and number 3 on the Billboard Top LPs chart in the US, where it eventually went 2× platinum.

In 1997, the album was voted the 27th "Best Album Ever" by The Guardian. In 2003, Rolling Stone ranked it at number 32 on the magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time."

MORE INFORMATION

Classic Albums Live takes your favourite albums and performs them live, on stage - note for note, cut for cut - using some of the world's greatest musicians. Consider it like a rock 'n' roll recital. No gimmicks, no costumes, no impersonations, just a precise and passionate recreation of the album - live! Plus, after the featured album is performed in its entirety (and a short intermission) the band returns to perform a wide variety of other favourites by the featured artist!

Founded in 2003 by Craig Martin, Classic Albums Live takes the greatest albums and recreates them live on stage - note for note, cut for cut, using the best musicians. "Think of it as a recital," says Martin, "these albums are historic and stand the test of time." Forgoing costumes and impersonations, Classic Albums Live has found success in concentrating solely on the music. "We don't dress up or wear any sort of costume. We just stand there and play. All of our energy is put into the music. We want the performance to sound exactly like the album," says Martin.

"We created something that endures and connects. These albums are sacred to people. We deliver exactly what we promote - 'note for note, cut for cut' accuracy."
