Remember the thrill of dropping the needle on the greatest music ever recorded with Classic Albums Live
: a recreation of your favourite records live on stage – note for note, cut for cut.
Described as a modern-day orchestra by creator Craig Martin, Classic Albums Live shows consistently deliver authentic, precise renditions of historic albums (minus the distracting costumes or bad impersonations). Paying homage to the record in the first set while playing all the hits in the second, these shows have resonated with audiences across North America for over 20 years.
The Stranger spent six weeks at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 Chart, and was heralded as Billy Joel’s critical and commercial breakthrough. Spawning four Top 40 hits, the record won Record of the Year and Song of the Year (for "She’s Always the Woman") in 1979. It remains Joel’s best-selling non-compilation album to date and surpassed Simon & Garfunkel's Bridge over Troubled Water to become Columbia's best-selling album release, with more than 10 million units sold worldwide.
This event is sponsored by Allen Sadikov, IG Wealth Management
All tickets are subject to $2.75 handling fee plus HST. For more information on ticketing fees click here .
