AVOIDING TICKET FRAUD + RESELLERS

Ticket fraud and third party resellers are becoming much more prevalent online via social media platforms and ticket reselling websites. Tickets for FirstOntario Performing Arts Events are only sold on our website (firstontariopac.ca). 

Follow this list of tips to protect yourself from online scams and high reseller fees. 


SOCIAL MEDIA RESELLERS

Do not purchase tickets from sellers on social media platforms, these sellers often make up reasons why they cannot attend a performance and will often say they're trying to get rid of the tickets for a discount. 
 

THIRD PARTY WEBSITES

Third party resellers often have their prices listed in US dollars and often are much more expensive than FirstOntario PAC ticket prices. 
 

AVOID FRAUD

Buy tickets only on FirstOntario PAC's website, in person (at 250 St. Paul Street, in downtown St. Catharines) or by phone at (905) 688-0722.

Sold-out events often have waiting lists, and when tickets get released or open up, patrons on the list will be next in line to receive tickets.

Avoid dissapointment and don't wait to get tickets at the last minute. Buy early to get the best seats!
